FAQ

Q - How do I book you?

Just give me a call or send me an email at any time and I will check my availability. You are more than welcome to come along to my studio to discuss your big day over a coffee.

I always take a booking fee of £150 and like to sign a contract which summarises what we have agreed. The booking fee, secures the date of your wedding in my diary.

Q - Do you have insurance?

Yes I do. I am fully insured, with a joint Processional Indemnity and Public Liability policy.

Q - My friend has told me that there is a local wedding photographer who will do my wedding for £295 and give me a DVD with 1000 images on, why can't you do that?

Firstly, photography is my full time profession. I don't use it to support another income or as a part time job or weekend job. Typically a wedding can take a week of my time including consultations, the wedding itself and the very significant aspect of editing the photographs and designing the album. Every photograph that I present, is carefully considered in terms of its cropping and enhancement.

All of the products I use from my equipment to the printing labs and album providers are of the highest quality.

I provide a service which provides the utmost of care, it is a privilege to be chosen as your photographer and I never forget that.

Please have a look at some of the comments I have had from previous couples.

Q - Are you a member of any professional bodies?

Yes I am, I am a member of the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (SWPP) and the Society of International School and Event Photographers.

Q - What do we need to do before the wedding?

I always like to meet the couple prior to the wedding day. This may be at a `engagement shoot` or a simple get together to go through the fine details of the day with you. If the initial booking is a year or so from the big day, then very often there is an initial meeting followed by a more detailed session about a month from the date.

It is very important that you meet me (and usually my wife who assists) so that we can get to know each other and get a real understanding of what you want from us. Some photographers don't meet their clients or may use a questionnaire, I don't work that way.

Q - You are based on the Fylde Coast in Blackpool, are you prepared to travel to a wedding?

Yes I will, I frequently travel to the Lake District and further a field. I'll even jump on a plane if that's what you require.

Q - Anything else we need to consider?

Just one thing. Remember that the day after your wedding one of the very few tangible things you have left to help you remember your incredible day are your photographs.
